What is the masternode?

A masternode is a network server that supports the infrastructure and helps the network perform important functions, such as confirming transactions and writing them to the blockchain. A large masternode network allows for increasing the decentralization of the network and ensuring greater reliability of transactions. A certain number of masternodes can work simultaneously on the network, their priority is determined by the size of the stake. In total, the Minter network will have 16 masternodes after the launch, and each month their number will increase by 4.
